I'd bought the same Ledu light some 25 yeqrs ago, in white, and after years of heavy service the plastic lens mounting clamps deteriorated. Fortunately, I located the Ledu Mfg. name and Model # and Amazon had one in stock. It's quite an amazing device and I just don't fathom how some other reviewers felt the device was poorly constructed! It's nearly all metal, has a vigorous heavy duty clamp and additional electrical 3-prong outlet at the base for computer or typewriter. There are 4 heavy-duty jointed segments with swivels that can be tightened to maintain its stance. The 5 inch biconvex lens and 22 Watt circular fluorescent tube provides ample illuminated magnification for diverse uses: in my case for forensic examination of photographs & documents, but also for checking microcircuitry on computer components, repair of jewelry items, watch bands, etc. When not in use it... I've got to remind myself not to grab and pull it from a folded, resting position too quickly as it's likely to bend or break under the pressure.
